Richard W. Livingston, Sr. “Rich” on October 18, 2020 of Williamstown. Age 68. Loving husband of Joy L. (nee Henefer). Beloved father of Richard W. Livingston, Jr. (Gina) of Milltown, Jessica Caldwell (Dan) of Williamstown, Brad Boucher (Julie) of Colts Neck and William Wright (Jessica) of Williamstown. Devoted grandfather of Kevin, Madison, Gavin, Sophia, Meadow, Ava, Rhys, Arianna and Juliana. Loving dog dad to Brody and Ryleigh. Born the prince, the only son following the birth of his three older sisters, Patricia Sarre, Margaret Richardson and the late Barbara Mackenzie. Rich served the Monroe Twp. Police Department for 31 years, retiring at the rank of Captain. While at the police department some of his roles were as range instructor and court liaison. After retirement from the police force Rich was a Corporate Security Manager for the Hertz Corporation for 10 years. After growing up in North Brunswick Rich moved to Williamstown New Jersey to start his career in law-enforcement. Rich loved being a cop!! He had zest for life that burned so bright everywhere he went and infected everyone he came in contact with it. He had a way of making everybody feel special. He was an avid lover of guns, military history, muscle cars, Philadelphia Eagles, Wawa Coffee, Diet Pepsi, Bloody Mary’s, Great Danes, OBX and telling great stories. One of Rich’s fondest memories was his trip to Alaska on his Harley with Tom Hahn. Rich always stated, this is my heaven right here on earth. I lived the life of ten men and have done so much and had so much fun and if I die tomorrow, I have no regrets. I have had a blast. I have great family and friends, and the love of my life, Joy. Rich retired to Hatteras North Carolina enjoying his time off-roading his Humvee down the beach, clamming and sharing his home with family and friends. Living the life, he always hoped for. But what Rich cherished the most was spending time with his wife Joy. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 6pm to 9pm and Monday, October 26, 2020 from 9am to 10am in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford, NJ 08096. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 11am at Woodbury Memorial Park, Jessup Rd. & Kings Highway, West Deptford, NJ. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
