Henry T. Narcisi, Sr.

Henry T. Narcisi, Sr. (Hawk) of the Pine Acres section of Deptford, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 15, 2024. Age 78. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. Beloved husband of Graciela Narcisi (nee Centeno) of 56 years. Son of Fanny Narcisi of Florida and the late Thomas D. Narcisi. Father of Patsylee Pepe (Stephen) of Woolwich, Henry T. Narcisi, Jr. (Jennie) of Mickleton, and Denise Barbuto (Charles) of Gloucester Twp. Brother of Joyce Avis (Randal) of Florida, Thomas Narcisi (Linda) of Cape May, Richard (Peggy) of Florida and the late Harry Narcisi (Monse). He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Grandfather of Nicholas, Dominick, Gianna and Henry, III. One great- grandchild arriving in January. Henry was born on August 27, 1945 in Quito, Ecuador and graduated from Colegio Josefino Rubira in 1964. He attended Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil, Drexel University and Lincoln Technical Institute. He worked at Owens Corning, Atlantis Seafood Market and retired from PSE&G in Audubon. He was active throughout his life, from childhood basketball to his love for playing and watching tennis. He was very ingenious with his problem solving and inventive with fixing anything. He loved music (listening, singing) and he never missed an opportunity to dance. Above all his love for his wife was immeasurable. His happiest times were family gatherings spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important- the simplicity of living a life with those you love. We will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing Friday, August 23rd, 2024, 7pm to 9pm and Saturday, August 24th, 9am to 10am in the Chapel at Boucher Funeral Home, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret’s Church in Woodbury Heights.
