Paul Bachman

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Bachman on May 10 2026 at age 60 of Deptford. Beloved husband of Laurie Bachman (nee Tripodi). Loving father of Brittany Guddo (Anthony) of Deptford, Victoria Bachman of Deptford and Paulie Bachman (Madeline) of Colorado. Cherished brother of William J. Bachman (Doreen) of Mullica Hill and Robert Bachman (Linda) of Tennessee. Devoted Pop to Aubrey, and Salvatore. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, John F. Bachman and Catherine A. Bachman (nee Merlino). Paul was a parishioner at St. Margaret’s Church in Woodbury Heights. Paul was a devoted husband, proud father, and Pop, beloved brother, and uncle and a loyal friend to so many. For 38 years he shared a loving marriage with his wife Laurie, building around family, laughter, and unconditional love. A respected member of the community Paul spent 22 years coaching Deptford, Junior Wrestling. Paul became role model who taught discipline, perseverance, teamwork. Paul also devoted many years to coaching girls' softball encouraging the young players to believe in themselves both on and off the field. Paul was known for showing up when he was needed, sharing stories, telling jokes, or quiet moments that became lasting memories for those closest to him. Whether offering advice, or simply making others laugh, he left a lasting impression. Paul was admired and liked throughout the community, because of his dedication to his community, he received several awards throughout the years, including John Margie Service award given to him by the Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame for his years of service, and he was entered into the Deptford Hall of Fame for his volunteer years of service . He cherished every moment with his grandchildren and children and loved being surrounded by his nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Paul will be remembered for his strength to continue moving forward, his resiliency, his sense of humor, and the impact he made on his family and friends. Paul's legacy will continue in the many lives he touched throughout the years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 10:00am to 12noon at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret’s RC Church, 3rd and Beech Sts., Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.
