William F. Tyciak, Jr.

Tyciak, Willie Frances, Jr., age 83, of South Seaville, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the hospital, with his loved ones by his side. He was born, in South Philadelphia, PA to the late William and, Helen Tyciak where he was raised, along with his two Sisters, Nancy &, Josephine (Feeney), known as the “Three Peas in a Pod”. He later, became an Alter Boy, at St. Phillip’s Church and, then attended Bishop Neumann High school. On April 8, 1967, he married his True Love, Carol Ann Budka and, together, they had one Precious Daughter, Clarissa Marie. In his younger years, Willie loved anything having to do with, hanging out with his Boys, on the corner, laughing/singing (some of his friends even became rich &, famous, for their “singing voices” but, no names will be revealed here!), Racing HotRod Cars to, Boxing Golden Glove where, his Trophies used to line the mantle, of our Reckroom, at home. He spent many years working as a Mechanic, Rust Proofer (had his own business for a while), Plumber, Carpenter &, then back to being a Plumber but, became One, under the Head Boss Guy, who turned out to really like him so, that’s where he stayed and, eventually, retired from. As, he grew older, he used his green thumb and, was always tending to his flowers, plants along, with constantly, up-keeping, his lovely home, in which, he took much Pride in. He was also, very proud of his Faith, in God and, would cherish, our Lord &, Blessed Mary, during tough times. He was a very loving Husband, Father, Son, Dzazdi, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and, Friend who would go out of his way to make others happy and, welcome when, you were in his company. He was a very high-spirited, kind-hearted and, a devoted person to All who knew him, and even, to most of the people, that knew him, he was an “All Around Genuine Good Guy - The Man!”. Him and, his Wife, Carol “Boo Boo”, of 57 years, would enjoy their quiet times together, at the Shore. He would just love it when she cooked and, made All kinds of “homemade yummy stuff” because, in turn, she’d wind-up spoiling him with it - LOL! They also, enjoyed listening to as, well as, singing along, to their favorite songs - mostly “DooWoop” music, watching their favorite classic/current movies/tv shows and, just reminiscing about the “good old times”. Him and, his Daughter, Clarissa, cherished their long talks, about everything &, anything as, well as, whatever the current news, of the day was. She was definitely “Daddy’s Little Girl”, from the day she was born (seven long years after the two of them said “I Do” - Wowwee, talk about Patience). From then on, it was Always gonna be the three of them - No Doubt. I’ll NEVER forgot the awesome Candy-Apple Red Mustang GT, that he &, her Mommy wrapped in a Big pretty white bow - just sitting, in our driveway as, he handed her the keys - like What!? But, that’s just how he was - he’d rather give, then receive - well, at least that’s how he was with his Daughter anyway :) They also, had fun boating/fishing, even if, they didn’t catch not ONE Single fish, that day. Daddy always knew of a great Fish Market, not too far away, that he made sure we’d stop so, Mommy would be proud and, prepared to cook-it up - Ha, Ha! Then, not too mention, their fun/wild four-wheeling days, at Beach Hill, whether it was in the sand or, snow - they always had a blast! He was the best Daddy &, he’ll never be Forgotten. He had a good, strong relationship, with his Son-in-Law, Brandon too. As, for the most part, they were “Buds”. He loved him, like a Son; respected him, as a Man; &, honored how good he, took care of and, provided selflessly, for his only Daughter &, their Family. Now, when his two beautiful Grandchildren were born, Olivia Ashley and, Kyle Joseph, he just adored them. He was such a Happy, Loveable &, Proud Grandpop a/k/a Dzadzi that they quickly, took over his heart/soul &, became his “Whole World”! He enjoyed every minute, with them, taking them everywhere and, spoiling them rotten. He made sure to spend as, much time as, he could with them. He enjoyed teaching them how to fish, build Bird Houses, plant/nourish lots of different Flowers &, even how to drive the infamous Golf cart. He just talked to them about when “He was their age”, how it was, how he was &, what he did to have fun, earn money, etc. “growing up” - whether it was “good or, not so good” - LOL! Whatever, it was……he truly was a Wonderful Dzadzi, to them both &, they’ll always have those Special moments/memories, with him, to hold near &, dear forever and, ever. Willie is survived by his predeceased Wife, Carol; Daughter, Clarissa Shoemaker; her Husband/Son-in-Law, Brandon and, his two Grandchildren, Olivia and Kyle along, with many nieces, nephews and, cousins. He is also survived by his predeceased Sister, Nancy Galkowski; along with his still surviving Brother-in-Law, Joseph Galkowski; along with his still surviving “Sassy” Sister, Feeney Walsh; and, along with his predeceased Brother-in-Law, Joseph Walsh. ❤️ We will Never forget you and, we will Always love you ❤️ Please Send your Condolences and, Share your Memories on this WEBSITE!!
