Christian Michael Brenner “Chris” of Deptford passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 21, 2019 at the age of 61. He was the loving husband of Diane (nee Andaloro). Beloved father of Chris and wife Katelyn of Haddonfield, Kristina and boyfriend Ryan of Westville, Jenna Rose and fiancé Brian of Westville, Phil of Westville, and the late Michael. Loving son of late mom Mary and late dad Christian. He was the brother of Patricia A. Bernard and her husband Robert of New Hampshire as well as Charles E. Brenner and his late wife Marla of Hamilton. Devoted grandfather of Owen and Colin. He is also survived by special people Anja Bonilla, Aunt Marion, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his nieces and nephews. Chris was a loving husband of 26 years, father to his four children, and “Big Papi” to his grandchildren. The greatest joy of his life was his children and grandchildren. He was endlessly proud of them and always joked that he would be their first patient when they opened an Urgent Care together, as all of his children are in the medical field. He dedicated a majority of his life to his career as an electrical engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he worked for twenty-seven years. He graduated in 1975 from Gloucester Catholic High School and received his Master’s Degree in Engineering from Drexel University. He formed lasting wonderful friendships throughout the years during these times. He loved listening to rock music and jamming to his favorite songs. He played a mean air guitar, especially when attending Billy Joel concerts or during long car rides. His family always came first, but his second love was always sports. Anyone that knew him, knew that he was a fantasy football guru. He could have made a second career of his knowledge of football and baseball. His favorite teams included the Philadelphia Eagles, and Phillies. He also loved rooting for the Orioles, which is a team that him and his dad always watched together. His favorite memories were taking his children to games. In addition, he loved collecting items including signed helmets, precious moment figurines, bobble head dolls, and football pennants. He had the most contagious laugh and always joked around with his family and friends. He was very social and could make a friend at any event he went to. He always loved to ask people “what do you like to do for fun” because he believed it was a way to really get to know someone. He was a very passionate, thoughtful, loving, secretly gentle man who always tried to make people feel special and loved. He was the kind of person who knew exactly what he wanted and how to get it. He would spend hours to find the perfect gift to give his wife during Christmas or their anniversary. He was definitely not shy about voicing his opinions or making his thoughts known, which allowed for his personality and love to shine bright. A Mass of Christian Burial 11:30am at Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 86 Cooper St., Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
