Darin did an amazing job instilling in his family that they must know their creator and Glory of Heaven that is in Jesus Christ. He was a child at heart. He worked extremely hard but boy, he loved to play. Darin, or “D-nice” as some would call him, had the biggest, most caring and compassionate heart which was led by his strong faith. He made his life’s mission to be there for others no matter what. These qualities allowed for him to be the perfect Father, Husband and Son. Darin cherished being a dad more than anything in this world. He said that his kids gave him life, and he lived to be the best dad he could. And he was! God created Darin in his image: gorgeous and strong, with the spirit of a child that he never lost. He loved the beauty of nature that God created. His parents were instrumental in helping develop a deep sense of appreciation for the trees, and for the water, and the stars in the sky. He loved sitting under a beautiful sunset, watching, as it would close the day. He would even sit outside to watch lightning strike the sky. Spending time outdoors was always his favorite thing, and throughout the years, his friends and his family were lucky enough to be able to spend this time with him. He always had a blast whether he was canoeing or throwing horseshoes, camping or sitting by a big fire, and much like his father he loved racing and ‘mudding it up’ and so much more. If something was happening outdoors, he was down. We definitely can’t leave out singing; he had a passion to sing for his friends and family, and he always sang from his heart. All you would have to do was hand him a mic and he instantly became a one man show. Darin taught us all how to love and be kind to one another. His life’s mantra was “Put God first in all things, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This once in a lifetime, uniquely created gem of God will be cherished and missed for eternity. He will live in the hearts of many forever and there will never be another like him. The world was truly blessed by this beautiful, beautiful man.
