Jeane A. Troxel

September 3, 1933 - January 28, 2022

Jeane A. (Newborn) Troxel, 88, of Marlton, NJ died at Wiley Mission on January 28, 2022, with her family by her side. Jeane was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Eggeling) Newborn. She was born in Royersford, PA where she graduated from Royersford High School and Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She married Robert C. Troxel of Skippack, PA on August 27, 1955, and the couple relocated to Turnersville, NJ with their five children in 1973. Jeane was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and loyal friend. Her passions were her husband, her children and grandchildren, and studying and teaching the Bible. She was active in her church as a youth leader while her children were young and in women’s Bible study after her children were grown. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and vacations with her family at the Jersey Shore and in Down East Maine. She was an avid reader and enjoyed conversations about books. Jeane is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert (Robert died on February 11, 2022), two daughters, Ruth Ellen Patterson (Thomas) and Kathleen Thomas (Kenneth); three sons, Robert Troxel (Dolores), John Troxel (Janet) and David Troxel (Rita); beloved grandchildren Amy, Sara, Mary, Kaitlyn, Emily, William, Connor, Colleen, Kenneth, Ava, and great grandchild Luca. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Newborn. A joint Memorial Service will be held for Robert and Jean Troxel at 11:00am on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Wiley Church (Wiley Christian Retirement Community), 101 E. Main St., Marlton, NJ 08053.
