Mary P. Richman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary Patricia Richman (nee Eggear), 63, of Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a small business owner and longtime resident of West Deptford, NJ before retiring to the Shore three years ago. Mary was born on Christmas Day to the late Paul Eggear and Mary Eggear (nee Bright). She had a true heart for others. Mary was told as a young girl that, due to Rheumatic fever, she would never work, get married or have children. A woman of strength and grace, it was no surprise that Mary beat all the odds, raised three daughters, operated successful businesses, and loved living life with her second husband Tod P. Richman, her other half and best friend for nearly 25 years. While Mary worked diligently over the course of her life for her Family Daycare of Gloucester County, at Wawa as night manager and as the owner/manager of Colonial Tree Service in Woodbury, her greatest purpose and joy was her family. Loved always by Tod. Sadly missed by her first husband Frank Rodgers and his wife Diane. Survived by daughters Ginamarie Christian (Keisha) of Paulsboro, Mary Frances Derr (Joseph) of Turnersville, Lauren Jones (Jeffrey) of Moorestown and Nicole Schools (Mark) of Williamstown. Mary was blessed with five siblings: Cassie Kimble (Ed) of N. Wildwood, Paulie Eggear (Karen) of Philadelphia, Thomas Eggear of Philadelphia and the late Frankie Eggear and Patricia Eggear. Her grandchildren, her pride and joy, will continue to honor her legacy. They are Gabe ("My Sunshine"), Ava Rose, Jeremy, the late Cole, Gwen, Mac and Vincent. Mary is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews and an extended family that delighted in her. She will be forever loved and adored by her three daughters. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday September 12, 2018 from 10:30am to 11:30am in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Interment private.
