Robert L. Kirkbride, Jr. of Woodbury Heights, Age 60, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2023, surrounded by family. He is the beloved husband of 35 years to Lori (nee Burness). Loving father of Robbie and Erin. Devoted PopPop to Hadley and Brooklyn. Cherished brother of Rachel (Michael) Cicalese of Haddon Heights and the late Austin Kirkbride. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Joan Kirkbride. Favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law to many. He will be deeply missed by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends. Bob grew up in Bellmawr and was a long-time resident of National Park, before settling in Woodbury Heights, where he was a member of Infant Jesus Parish. Bob was employed by Pepsi in Pennsauken for nearly 30 years. Prior to his years at Pepsi, he worked at Seagoing, where his love of boating and fishing took hold. Bob also worked at Aramark, where he met the love of his life, Lori. Anyone that has witnessed Bob and Lori's love can attest to how one of a kind it was. Bob was our “Mr. Fixit” and was always willing to lend a hand or volunteer to fix something or help in any way. Bob enjoyed coaching Robbie and Erin when they were young, and he took great pleasure in watching Hadley’s sports. Bob was a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan, but also enjoyed rooting for the Eagles and the Phillies. In Bob's free time, he loved fishing and spending time with family at the beach and boardwalk, while indulging in a slice of Mack’s Pizza and a bucket of Curley’s Fries. Bob loved entertaining by the backyard pool where you could catch him telling one of his infamous stories and making the kids laugh with his special dive in the pool. But most importantly, Bob cherished making memories with his granddaughters and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 10am to 11am, at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's RC Church, 3rd and Beech Streets, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097 Mass of Christian Burial 11am at the church. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, 515 W. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
