Vincent La Mantia

December 8, 1926 - February 9, 2022

Vincent La Mantia passed peacefully on February 9, 2022 at the age of 95. Dear husband of the late Helene (nee Sica), loving father of Joseph La Mantia (Mimi) of Toms River, and beloved grandfather of Amanda. Vinny, as he was known to close friends and family, had very recently become a resident of Woodbury, formerly of Toms River, Las Vegas, and for most of his life Brooklyn and Staten Island. The second son of Sicilian immigrants, Vinny lived a remarkable life having traveled extensively with his family. He could always be seen with a crossword puzzle and was a lover of baseball, football, and especially of music, food and wine. Vinny was a veteran of the U.S. Army and proudly served in the Pacific during WWII. After the war he had a long and successful career as a Lithograher/Platemaker with Hopp Press in New York City, and was a member of the Teamsters as well as the Amalgamated Lithographers unions. Vinny was a sweetheart and will be sorely missed for his kind spirit and mild manner. Services will be held in private for close family and friends. For condolences visit www.boucherfuneralhome.com.
