Harry M. Thompson, a beloved son, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, at the age of 65. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and never forgotten. Harry was the cherished son of the late Harry Thompson and Theresa Fisicaro (nee Morrison) (Joseph), predecessed by his 3 sisters Theresa, Deanna, and Jennifer. He was a loving and devoted uncle, and a cherished lifelong friend to Tim and Anita O'Shea and their seven beautiful children. Harry grew up in Philadelphia (Germantown) and Willow Grove PA. He served his country with honor, dedicating three years after high school to the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer. This early commitment to service reflected the unwavering loyalty and kindness that defined his life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity, most notably demonstrated through his unwavering support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart. His big heart and willingness to help others, especially children, will always be remembered. Harry’s passion for his Philadelphia sports teams – the Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies – was legendary. He was especially proud of attending the Super Bowl in Florida in 2004 with Tim, where they witnessed the Eagles' first matchup against the Patriots. This trip exemplifies his zest for life and his ability to find joy in shared experiences. Beyond his love for sports, Harry possessed a warm and generous spirit. He was known for his unwavering loyalty to his friends and family, always ready with a helping hand and a kind word. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those whose lives he touched and will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Chapel at Boucher Funeral Home, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Harry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
