Lois E. Palmer

Lois Ellen Palmer, was born in Woodbury, NJ in January 1958 to James & Pauline. She grew up in National Park, NJ and was part of the Marching Band and Rifle Club. She worked for Subaru of America for 34 years in which she held several positions. Her last position before her retirement was Distribution Analyst where she handled 100+ retailers. She forged many lifelong friendships and was highly respected for her hard work and dedication. She enjoyed cycling as her favorite pastime and loved to go on adventures of any kind. Lois dedicated her life to the service of others. It was something she prioritized in her day to day. Whether serving in her church, community service events with Subaru, or the random acts of kindness she would do on her own, she was a true servant at heart. She supported many organizations including Habitat for Humanity, MS150, Cathedral Kitchen for the Homeless, Philabundance, Warm Nights, and the local Food Banks, just to name a few. She was the beloved wife of Edward “Ed” Palmer Sr. They were married on June 30, 1984. Her family was her life and she was very dedicated to each of them. She is also survived by her three sons, “her boys” as she called them, Christopher McGinity (Charlene), Edward Palmer Jr. (Noelle), and Charles “Chuck” Palmer. She has eight grandchildren, Thomas Bardon, Kiara Gregory, Melanie McGinity, Jenna Baker, Edward Palmer III “Trey”, Kayleigh, Izabella, and Barrett Palmer. As well as a great grandson, Colten Kepler. She is also survived by her two brothers Glenn Dougherty and Joseph (Judy) Baumiester. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Pauline. Lois was a dedicated Christian and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus. She was an avid evangelist and loved to spread the good news to strangers. She loved meeting new people and once you met her, you loved her. She was an outgoing and loving friend. Her friendships encompassed every aspect of her life, and she held each and everyone close to her heart. She was a patriot at heart and loved our country and always honored those who served in the military with the utmost respect and gratitude. She leaves a legacy of laughter, love, and memories. She was fun, adventurous, and had an incredible sense of humor. Lois will be greatly missed by all who knew her whether for a minute or a lifetime. She is not gone, but has gone ahead. “I am the resurrection and the life.
