Robert E. Mills

Robert Mills, age 76 of Deptford, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 20, 2025, in the comfort of his home, embraced by the love of his family and friends. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Patricia Mills (nee Ash). Loving dad of Stephania Tomaszewski (Karl) of Deptford, Robert Mills (Danielle) of Deptford, and Sharon Mills of Turnersville. Proud Poppop of Tyler, Gabi, Luke, and Gracie. Adored Uncle Robert to many nieces and nephews. Doting brother-in-law of Tibby and Cindy. He deeply appreciated the friendship of his long-time pal, Joe, his bond with Sean, and the loving care he received from extended family members Lori and Kristi. Robert was incredibly proud to be a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran. He always cherished the memories he carried of his hard-working mother, Martha (McHugh), who tirelessly devoted her life to caring for him and his five siblings. Robert enjoyed over 20 years of retirement, spending as much time as he was allowed going to "work" at the casinos to play roulette and lucky slots. He was well known there as "Lucky Mr. Three." He will be fondly remembered as a baseball and basketball coach from his involvement in the little league and Oak Valley Athletics Association. Some of his other hobbies included cheering on or hollering at the Eagles and Phillies, playing golf, and scratching off lottery tickets. He was the most generous person, always sharing his winnings and picking up the tab. Robert's charming presence, including his (elaborate and funnier each time) stories from his Navy days, younger years, rounds of golf, and roulette spins, will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 10am to 12noon in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096. The family requests for guests to wear something representing the Eagles, Phillies, Ireland, or the Military. Funeral Service 12noon in The Chapel of the funeral home.
